I am a mixed media artist who works primarily in painting, sculpture and installation. My work is informed by my experience as a construction coordinator, fabricator, and installer. I am drawn to the physical texture and chaotic maximalism of found objects, discarded industrial materials and everyday fixes such as patched concrete and buffed graffiti. I also take influences from music, particularly anarchic compositions of obscure subgenres.

My work is often about the process of creation itself. I am interested in the way that materials can be transformed and repurposed. I also explore the relationship between art and the everyday world. My practice is driven by a compulsion to create. I'm constantly inspired by the things that I see around me. I see composition in everyday objects, and I create compositions that reflect my own perspective.

My work is often described as being both beautiful and ugly, chaotic and organized. I believe that this duality is essential to my work. I'm disinterested in creating work that is either one thing or the other. My work can be seen as a reflection and reaction to the current zeitgeist. The world is a chaotic and complex place, and my work seeks to capture and subvert that chaos and complexity. I am not interested in creating work that is easy to understand or that provides easy answers. I want my work to challenge viewers and to make them think about labor, form and the world around them.
